Alone...

This is my 28th poem, Alone (click here). Basically, it's just a poem about loneliness and whatever. It's somewhat similar to my 14th poem, Solitude. Compared to the other poems, this one is relatively short, but length really doesn't have anything to do with the quality of the poem, so I'll leave you to comment about this poem.

The preview:

Lonesomeness is such a pain,
And sorrow is such a drag.
Casted out the heavy rain,
Nothing heard but insults and nag.

So that's it, please check the rest out at my DA. Thanks...

Cold Summer Night...

So today, I got lucky and had time to make my 27th poem, Cold Summer Night (click here). It's basically a poem that tells us not to always believe in what the society tells us. I believe that we all can break the boundaries of the human limits, and that we do not need beliefs that are forced or implanted into us since our growth.

Anyways, the preview:

Walking and waiting below the violet sky,
Wondering of the mysteries that come passing by.
Asking everything in creation why,
Of the questions that contain many lies.

So that's it, please check it out and tell me what you think, thanks...

Mini Battle of the Brains...

Just when I thought that there weren't any other contests that I'd be joining in this school year, I managed to get into the semi-finals (which occured yesterday, Jan. 16, 2010) of the Mini Battle of the Brains (more like Battle of the Mini Brains, hehehe... just kidding). Anyways, I didn't fare that well, since I probably didn't answer too many correct answers among the 105 questions. The categories were General Info, Current Events, Philippine History, Asian History, World History, General Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Math. So you really have to be quite a "jack of all trades but with a medium mastery" when you wanna win this competition. Anyways, the finals are at January 23, 2010. I bet I'm not in that contest.

Opposing Forces...

So here I am again with another poem. This is my 26th poem, Opposing Forces (click here), this poem's theme is almost the same as my 23rd poem, The Flames of Conflict. It tells us what will happen if people or ideas with opposite ideals clash with each other in a barbaric way.

So here is the preview:

Pathway whilst existing we call life,
A world that holds peace and strife,
Reluctant passengers are we to ride,
In this endless journey as own guide.

So that's it, please check the rest out at my DA. I hope that everyone could learn something from this poem, and please leave a comment on it. Thanks...

Love Can't Betray...

Alright, so if you checked out my 25th poem, Love's Judgement, then that means you'll know this one. This poem, Love Can't Betray (click here), is my partner's (Charmaine Guy's) reply to my poem. I really have to say that she really did a great job since I really liked the construction of the poem. (even if it was a rejection, hehehe, never would you see such a beautiful rejection in your whole life) Everything you're going to see is her original work except for the title, which I have given since she asked for my opinion towards it.

So, without further ado, the preview:

Valor was you in expressing yourself,
Astute in words in meaning you have dealt.
Special person you may be to me,
In only as a friend, a best friend really first.

All right so that is the preveiw, please check it out on my DA, and please comment, I'll let her know of your opinions regarding this poem. Thanks...

Love's Judgement...

Ok, so today, I have made my 25th poem, Love's Judgement (click here). So basically, just to make everything clear about this poem, this poem of mine is actually an assignment that was given to me and my assigned partner, Charmaine Guy, for the poems in the category of love and reply.

It works like this, every pair is given a wacky situation (e.g. Doctor falling in love w/ his patient; a soldier to his enemy; a gay to a tomboy, etc.) and the guy will write a poem for the girl, now after reading the poem given, the girl will either accept or decline the guy and reply w/ another poem. Now the case that Charmaine and I got is I'm the guy that liked the girlfriend (which is her) of my best friend. So it's sorta like a love triangle thingy, and I quite think that this is a cool theme because I have never written any poem like this before.

Anyways, I'll place the preview here:

A friend and I once walked one path,
Now it seems I’ll be invoking his wrath.
For the lady that he hast loved right now,
Is the beauty that enthralled me which is thou.

All right so please check the rest out at my DA, please comment and tell me what you think. Thanks... XD

Addition to the New Innovation...

If you remember the transmutation circle that I have posted 2 days ago, then you'd probably see the flaws of it. Anyways, I'm here again with the version 2 of what you saw, here's the link: (click here). The solution to the blurry problem is just to resize the colored outline to large. Here is the proper step to do that, let's get into it:

After doing the MS Powerpoint part, transfer it to the previous MS Publisher file via copy paste technique. Then, you just resize the whole thing (my preference is to right click the pic, click change picture, then scale picture. I normally set both height and width to 200%, but it's really up to you on the resizing). Finally, transfer it to MS Paint and then the rest is just designing.

This may not totally remove the blurry problem but the product becomes less blurred so I guess that's better than last time. So that's that and I hope I have improved this method, and please feel free to try it as well as tell me your reactions towards it.

Happy New Year and stay cool everyone...
